Warranty Information
At Amreston Homes, LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality homes built to last. To give our homeowners peace of mind, every new home we build is protected by a third-party structural warranty provided through the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® program.
What the 2-10 Warranty Covers
The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® includes the following coverage:
- 1-Year Workmanship Warranty: Covers specified components related to fit, finish, and materials, such as drywall, trim, doors, flooring, and more.
- 2-Year Systems Warranty: Covers major mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- 10-Year Structural Warranty: Protects against qualifying structural defects in load-bearing components of the home, such as the foundation, load-bearing walls, roof framing, and more.
Important Notes and Limitations
- Third-Party Administration: The 2-10 Warranty is administered by an independent third party. Amreston Homes, LLC is not responsible for the administration, determination, or fulfillment of claims under this warranty.
- Limited Scope: Coverage is limited to what is explicitly stated in the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® documentation. Items not covered include (but are not limited to) normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper maintenance or homeowner negligence, and non-load-bearing cosmetic items after the 1-year workmanship period.
- Exclusions Apply: Certain elements of the home, such as landscaping, appliances, and outbuildings (if any), may not be covered. Always refer to your specific warranty booklet for full details.
No Additional Warranties
Aside from the coverage provided by the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty®, Amreston Homes, LLC does not offer any other express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any statements made by sales personnel, subcontractors, or representatives do not constitute additional warranties unless explicitly documented and signed by an authorized representative of Amreston Homes, LLC.
